Bentley has teamed up with James Bond and its publisher Hodder & Stoughton to create a special edition copy of the new ‘Carte Blanche’ novel.

500 versions of the luxury edition have gone on sale today, exactly one month before the official launch of the new book on May 26.

Hodder & Stoughton will be hoping the partnership reaps the same rewards as their last outing when the special edition Bentley versions of ‘Devil May Care’ by Sebastian Faulks, sold out in a number of days.

Despite Bond’s association with Aston Martin, the secret agent has been put behind the wheel of a Bentley Continental GT in the latest novel and its cover takes the form of the prestigious grand tourer. As well as being bound in bespoke Bentley Nappa leather and finished in exclusive Bentley colours, a unique bullet has also been included complete with individual numbering.

Well worth the £1,000 price tag.
