Canadian design duo Dsquared² - brothers Dean and Dan Caten – have designed a MINI Cooper S for the Life Ball.

MotorTorque revealed sketches for the ‘Red Mudder’ concept earlier this month and the finished product has stayed true to its origins with a robust-looking exterior complete with a front guard, rally headlights and grilled side windows.

Inside, the brothers-Caten, have been equally quirky after shunning satellite navigation for a compass and aluminium floor mats.

Life Ball is Europe’s biggest Aids foundation and for the eleventh consecutive year a one-off MINI has been designed with proceeds going to the organisation.

In the past names including Donatella Versace and Diesel have produced a MINI for the event and generated some €500 million for Aids Life.
