Alfa Romeo has commissioned a special edition version of the Mito 1.3-itre JTDM-2 Sprint, painted by artist, Louise Dear.

Dear has christened the work of art ‘Because I Can’ and based it on her daughter – something which Alfa Romeo has clung onto, stressing the ‘young and exciting’ style of the Mito.

Also behind the floral brand was the CO2 emissions of the model which stand at 95g/km.

The art car was created in collaboration with Castle Galleries and it was unveiled at one of the company’s exhibits in Covent Garden yesterday to a mix of VIPs and Alfa Romeo honchos.
